Beginner To Advanced Tumbling Options!

Class Options

Preschool Tumbling

Moving into a more structured class setting without a parent, your little one will be introduced to basic tumbling skills. Preschool Tumbling Classes are 45 minute co-ed classes for children 3-5 years old. During class, athletes will get a chance to learn the basics of both of tumbling skills, strength and flexibility. Participants also learn how to take turns, listen and follow directions, communicate with friends and adults, share, and play with other children. Participants must be potty trained in order to register for this class. No experience necessary.

Focus: hand placement for all tumbling, forward & backward rolls, cartwheel, round-off, bridge, back bend kick-over, strength & flexibility, drills, conditioning.

Parent/Tot Classes

Looking for something fun to do with your energetic baby? Want to improve your child’s gross motor skills, listening/social skills, and confidence? We use music, games and fun props to create an enjoyable experience for both parent and child. This 45 minute class takes place in our gym with an experienced instructor to guide you and your child through fun stretches and exciting obstacle courses. Ages 12 months – 3 years old.

Focus: parent/child bonding, gross motor skills, & hand/eye coordination.

Beginner Tumbling

This is an introductory class to tumbling for athletes 6-18 years of age. No experience required. This one hour class will review tumbling shapes and students will learn the basics of tumbling.

Focus: forward & backward rolls, cartwheel, round-off, bridge, back bend kick-over, back walkover, front walkover, strength & flexibility, drills, conditioning.

Intermediate Tumbling

This co-ed class is open to athletes 8-18 years of age. Intermediate tumblers must have mastered the basic tumbling progressions taught in the beginner level tumbling class. The Intermediate Tumbling Class will be learning more difficult skills in levels 2 and 3.

Focus: standing back handspring, front handspring, round-off back handspring, connected standing back handsprings, power hurdles, aerials, round-off back handspring back tuck, punch front tucks, strength & flexibility, drills, conditioning.

Advanced Tumbling

This is an upper level co-ed class for ages 8-18. Advanced tumblers must have mastered all tumbling skills from the beginner and intermediate tumbling classes. The Advanced Tumbling Class will be learning more difficult skills, covering levels  4, 5 & 6.  

Focus: standing back tucks, round-off back handspring layouts, full-twisting layouts, standing back handsprings to layout, standing back handsprings to full-twisting layout, strength & flexibility, drills, conditioning.
